Students Celebrate 100th Day of School

posted Feb 15, 2018, 9:40 AM by Jennifer Lister   [ updated Feb 15, 2018, 10:01 AM ]

Happy 100th Day of School!
February, 16th kindergarten and 1st grade celebrate the 100th day with a scavenger hunt (finding 10 groups of 10 throughout the school), art projects, snacks (100th day trail mix) and exercise! Students started the day with 100 exercises!

As part of the math curriculum, all primary grades levels have been counting the days of school since September to practice skills such as one-to-one correspondence, number sense, and place value. Students collected 100 items and created a project - all on display now in the 100 days museum in the school library.

One hundred Days!
One hundred days of learning,
One hundred days of fun,
One hundred days to work and play,
Aren't I the lucky one?

posted Jan 17, 2018, 1:21 PM by Jennifer Lister   [ updated Feb 5, 2018, 11:51 AM ]

On Saturday, March 3, 2018, Prescott Parents will host our 6th Annual Fundraising Auction at Whirlyball from 7 - 11 pm.

For the first time, Prescott families have the opportunity to sponsor the event. Sponsorships begin as low as $100, and for many families, it’s a simpler way to show your support for our school. Grandparents, relatives and friends can sponsor, too! See the link for sponsorship details and to purchase your family sponsorship.

Your vital support creates key access to the technology, resources and infrastructure our students need to continue excelling at the highest levels.

Consider purchasing your family sponsorship today and share the link with others who may be interested! Thank you for your support.

6th Annual Auction Fundraiser, March 3, 2018

posted Oct 11, 2017, 12:27 PM by Jennifer Lister

Dear Prescott Families,

We are putting together committees for the March 2018 Prescott Auction--this annual event is the school’s largest fundraiser. The efforts required to make the auction successful proceed throughout the school year, and we are trying to get organized NOW to make the 2018 event our best ever.

We will be hosting two informational meetings on this event where you can learn more about the fundraiser along with ways to get involved.

Ways to get involved...

Join a Committee:
Silent Auction (solicit items for silent auction.. this can be done by email)
Sponsorship (solicit corporate and small business) * if you work for a company that would be a potential sponsor please reach out.
Marketing and Advertising (providing advertising and promotion needs for event)
Entertainment/Decorations (dj,centerpieces, come up with a possible theme etc.)
Day of Support (check-in, setup/cleanup)

Seeking the following person(s) with the below skills:
Videographer- to put a short video together about Prescott and it’s journey throughout the years! This would be a HUGE gift to the school that could be used for various school/fundraising purposes.

If you have further questions please email

Save the date: Taste of Prescott, October, 20

posted Sep 25, 2017, 8:30 AM by Jennifer Lister   [ updated Sep 25, 2017, 8:30 AM ]

Prescott's Taste of Prescott Wolfpack committee is working hard on two events to support Prescott. Mark your calendar and don't miss these upcoming events ...

(1) The 3rd Annual "Taste of Prescott" is a family-friendly event that takes place on October 20th from 6-9 p.m. at the Chicago Art Department. Although we always hope to provide a free event to all Prescott families, there are still materials that need to be purchased to make it a successful (and free) event.

(2) The "Holiday Giggle" is a 21-and-over comedy show taking place Thursday December 7th at Joe's on Weed Street, where we will have the opportunity to raise money for Prescott with each ticket sold! Save the date and spread the word!

Please contact the Wolfpack committee members below with questions. Thank you!
